The 2008 Ski-Doo Everest is the lightest of the 2008 Skidoo line-up at a 146 inch track and 439 pounds dry-weight. Different alloys, along with many cast aluminum parts helped Ski-Doo shave weight while still maintaining strength.

One of the new REV designs includes moving the secondary clutch to above the tunnel, creating extra foot room. The engine is mounted vertically in the XP chassis, helping to make it more stable and reduce belt flex.
