2007 Yamaha Snowmobiles
Yamaha snowmobile model information
The Yamaha snowmobile sled line-up for 2007 features all 4-stroke snow
machines, consistent
with its product line since 2003. Snocross rules for the 2007
snowmobile racing season have expanded the Open classes to allow
inline, three-cylinder, four-stroke powered sleds up to 1050 cc. Robbie
Malinoski, WPSA champion in both 2006 Pro Open and Pro Stock
classes, will be the main driver on Yamaha's new 2007 race team. The
2006 Japanese National Snocross Champion, Yuji Nakazawa, will also join
the Yamaha factory team. Yamaha stopped sponsoring a snocross factory
team in the 2001-2002 season, so this marks a return of a full field of
brands in snocross racing.

The 2007 Yamaha Apex GT features good
gas economy, comfortable rider forward ride, raised seat, hooked-end
handlebar, precision control suspension, and electronic fuel injection.

Jimmy Blaze, snowmobile freestyle
champion, rides a Yamaha Phazer FX. The Phazer FX weighs in at a final
production weight
of 487 pounds. Built for performance, durability, and handling, it
looks like a winner for 2007.

Yamaha says the Yamaha Phazer GT
reinvents the trail ride with light-weight and heavy value. The Phazer
uses aluminum-bodied shocks, full wind deflecting windshield and knee
deflectors
on its open styling for trail comfort.

The Yamaha Venture line takes two-up
performance and economy to create the family sled that
should be hot in 2007. The rip saw track is a plus, along with standard
features like
reverse, passenger handlebar warmers, and a cargo rack.

The Yamaha Nytro maintains the
traditional styling of its previous successful seasons, with its 120 hp
liquid cooled engine.
