PRESS RELEASE: Avalanche Racing wins SEMI-PRO OPEN - SEMI-PRO SUPER STOCK - PRO WOMENS SUPER STOCK NATIONAL POINTS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Chicago, IL. - March 17, 2008 - Avalanche hits Lake Geneva, WI!

The Avalanche Race Team arrived in Lake Geneva,WI for the WPSA National Snocross Season Finale and left with not one, not two, but THREE Year-End National Points Titles.

Andrew Johnstad took both Semi-Pro Open and Semi-Pro Super Stock Division Titles plus received the WPSA Semi-Pro of the Year Award. Kylie Abrahamson took Pro Super Stock Womens Title and won the Pro Woman of the Year Award. Resident Pro Mike (the monster) Schultz finished the season ranked 6th in the Pro Super Stock.

James Johnstad, Junior rider, competed in both 14-15, 16-17 classes and kicked butt and took names. He brought home 8 podiums! If this young racer is any indication of the incredible natural talent and drive coming up through the ranks then snocross has a very bright future.

During the year-end WPSA banquet Avalanche Race Team and Christian Brothers Racing were both bestowed the Sportmanship of the Year Award.

The season finale “Crew Member for a Day” was Matt Hartmann, Marengo, IL and he won a stack of fantastic prizes from our sponsors.

PRESS RELEASE: Ross Martin-Pro Open Year- End National Points Champion & WPSA Pro Racer of the Year

Lake Nebagamon, WI - March 18, 2008

It has been a PHENOMENAL year for Judnick Motorsports! Ross Martin (for the second
year in a row) took the PRO OPEN YEAR-END NATIONAL POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP and finished 2nd in total points for PRO SUPER STOCK .

He had 10 Pro Podiums and received the “WPSA Pro Racer of the Year Award.”

Scott Judnick, Team Owner, Judnick Motorsports says, “This year has to be one of the most gratifying race seasons I can remember. I couldn’t be prouder of Ross and the entire crew. I want to send out a huge thanks to the guys behind the scenes who’s hard work and unwaivering dedication put us on top - Tom Rager Jr, Roger Faber, Tony Swiontek.You guys are the best!”

Judnick continues, “We had a tough start to the season with both Dylan and Matt’s injuries but we just adjusted and never changed the drive to the top. Ross raced amongst an excellent group of Pros and ultimately took home the Championship Title.We couldn’t be happier!”
