The 2008 Yamaha Apex LTX GT snowmobile is designed for the crossover market rider, who wants to meet the challenge on any terrain. It uses the Genesis® 150FI 4-stroke engine that's 7 pounds lighter than the 2007 engine.

The Yamaha Apex LTX GT design uses the Deltabox II rider forward design for superior handling ability and comfort.

Yamaha Apex LTX sled standard features include the dual hooked handlebar, made of the same material as the main bar section for consistent control in performance situations.

Yamaha Apex LTX GT uses the 15x136x1.25-inch Camoplast® Rip Saw™ track

The Yamaha Apex LTX GT snow machine uses Öhlins® Mono Shock EC 136 rear suspension with push-button activated, electronically-controlled Öhlins® shock. The Apex LTX GT's front suspension features lightweight aluminum-bodied Öhlins® piggyback shocks providing compression and rebound adjustability for maximum tuning ability.

Yamaha Apex LTX GT uses plastic saddleless skis for strong cornering bite.

The Apex LTX GT guages have some great additional information for the rider including: barometric measurements, dual trip meters, plus readout and control center for the Öhlins® Mono Shock EC suspension.
