The 2008 Yamaha Apex LTX snowmobile is designed for the crossover market rider, who wants to meet the challenge on any terrain. It uses the Genesis® 150FI 4-stroke engine that's 7 pounds lighter than the 2007 sled engine.

The Yamaha Apex LTX design uses the Deltabox II rider forward design for superior handling ability and comfort.

Yamaha Apex LTX snow machine standard features include the dual hooked handlebar, made of the same material as the main bar section for consistent control in snowmobile performance situations.

Yamaha Apex LTX uses the 15x136x1.25-inch Camoplast® Rip Saw™ track

The Yamaha Apex LTX sled uses Mono Shock® RA 136 rear suspension, which features a remote adjustment dial with a full 20 clicks of compression adjustment on the 46mm aluminum HPG shock.

Yamaha Apex LTX uses plastic saddleless skis for strong cornering bite.
